Y'arr!
I mean... hail!
A little about me/us: I played on Ahazi (from launch 'till the NGE) and was one of the founding members of the Antarian Rangers guild there (at the time led by Zkull). Zkull was in charge for about a year, then mysteriously vanished. Next was Darkmatter, whose interest in the game dwindled shortly after JTL. Third, was me... voted into office in absentia only to last about a month before completely disappearing from the game during that long-overdue Ranger upgrade (yeah, right before the demise!!).
We had a fairly large player base when the guild opened (40+ ) which declined over the course of the game to (when I left) only about 7 members. Our guild hall (see pictures on that website) was located in "Antarian Ranger Valley" (okay, only *I* called it that) in the NE sector of Corellia.
Also, while we began as a "neutral" guild, the story arcs introduced into the game pushed us mainly towards the Rebel alignment (though not a requirement). At first, we would stage massive 40-man hunts across various planets for meats and milks and melons and orangutan... etc. When the first few Jedi appeared on Ahazi, we organized small-scale hunting missions to aid our Jedi companions (y'know, until everyone and their dog unlocked the Force -- hologrinding, anyone?). Later on, we became less exclusively "ranger-oriented" (Rangers at heart, if not in skill distributions) and focused on story-arc missions and JtL.
Anyhow:
I have admin rights to the aforementioned website, so I went ahead and unlocked all the member-only forums there.
We had a more recent website (which is now all but dismantled); I'll see if there's any valuable information I can get from my partner in crime (...fighting).
May the mighty Maroj Melon protect you! |

Many thanks, Ryland! I appreciated the historical rundown very much. Looking forward to see the stuff on the members only forum as well.
Oh and by the way, welcome and glad to have you here!

I could pretty much cut and paste Ryland's story and just change the names for our AR chapter's history. Right down to the new guild website. Freaky. _________________ Foubarr Pakae - Flurry Antarian Ranger

AR on Ahazi, man those were fun times.
I wonder if our old guild hall is still standing - with the statues memoralizing some of us (me included). |

Hey you two! Long time, no see.
If our guild hall is still standing, it probably reeks of a 5-year-old fish stench by now.
I was on the SWG Emu several months ago (during some stress tests). Looks promising, but I'm not sure I personally want to invoke all that nostalgia... maybe just hop on every once in a while for some fishing.
Submerged camps, anyone? _________________ Ryland Corsair - Ahazi Antarian Ranger

| Submerged camps are great times. Who knew the fires would still burn. If only the fish would swim by and cook themselves. |
